This Refund Policy applies to all in-app purchases made within the Solar Energy Calculator and AI Janpratinidhi Sahayak apps developed by GYAN VIDDYUT TECHNOLOGY OF INDIA.
1. In-App Purchase Types
Our apps may offer the following types of in-app purchases:
- Premium Features: One-time purchase to unlock advanced features
- Subscription Plans: Monthly or annual subscriptions for premium access
- Report Generation: Paid detailed solar analysis reports
- AI Credits: Additional AI query credits for extended usage
2. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
- The purchased feature does not work as described
- You were charged incorrectly or multiple times for the same item
- Technical issues prevent you from accessing purchased content
- The purchase was made without your authorization
- Request made within 7 days of purchase (for one-time purchases)
- Request made within 48 hours for subscription renewals
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following purchases are generally non-refundable:
- Consumed items (e.g., AI credits already used)
- Reports already generated and downloaded
- Subscription periods already used
- Purchases made more than 30 days ago
- Promotional or discounted purchases (unless defective)
4. How to Request a Refund
Method 1: Through Google Play Store
- Open Google Play Store on your device
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history
- Find the purchase and tap "Refund"
- Follow the on-screen instructions

Method 2: Contact Us Directly
Email us at harshsamrat@gmail.com with:
- Your full name and email (registered in the app)
- Google Play order number (found in your email receipt)
- Date of purchase
- Reason for refund request
- Screenshots of the issue (if applicable)
5. Refund Processing Timeline
- Review Period: We will review your request within 3-5 business days
- Decision: You will be notified of approval or denial via email
- Refund Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 7-14 business days
- Payment Method: Refund is credited to your original payment method
6. Subscription Cancellation
To cancel a subscription:
- Open Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Find the relevant subscription and tap "Cancel"
- You will continue to have access until the end of the current billing period
Note: Uninstalling the app does NOT automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Google Play.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with the refund decision, you may:
- Request a review by contacting us again with additional information
- File a dispute through Google Play's support
- Contact consumer protection authorities in India
